Round 2 of event selection opens this Thursday, October 15 at 11AM CT.
Round 2 event preferencing opens Thursday, October 15, at 11:00 AM CT and closes Thursday, October 22, at 11:00 AM CT.
During Round 2, teams can rank their preferred events for their second district competition of the 2027 FIRST Robotics Competition season. Your season registration includes two district events.
Still need your first event? If your team missed Round 1 or has not yet secured its first district event, late registration is already open. You can select from events with available spots.
How Event Preferencing Works
Rank your preferred events in the FIRST Dashboard. You can select as many or as few events as you'd like and update your rankings anytime before the deadline.
There's no advantage to submitting early. After the window closes, FIRST runs a lottery to place teams into events or onto waitlists. Submitting preferences does not guarantee placement at your first-choice event.
